We wwere going to SEdona to spend Labor Day weekend with Jeanne and Terry, driging to Flagstaff, and Dew was keeping track of the different license plates he saw along the way. he was reading raptly as always, and is very focused when doing so. at one point John spied a car from TX and announced it loudly to Drew "Drew - Texas!!" and Drew was engrossed in is book but looked up saying "What - we're entering Texas??"

Matty has a real talent for quoting movies. He does this all the time and seemingly can recall just about any line in any movie. It is amazing to hear what he quotes. He really pays attention! Out of the blue, all the time, he will just say some line from some movie, it keeps us all very entertained :-)

This is the ittle of a 70s song from the group Squeeze, and I have played it in my car a lot lately. Well I guess it didn't excape the notice of matty. One day I was putting him to bed and he said "mom, you know what?" and I leaned in and he replied "If I didn't love you I would ahte you". wow, I was not expecting to hear that at that moment. LOL. That wa a really funny moment. He repeated it several times that week.
