The 'Why' Stage
This was a conversation I really and truly had today - what an amazing conversation.
We passed by a Mazda dealership when getting on the highway. my darling 3 year old asked 'Mommy, can we go there?' pointing to it.
Mary "not today, okay, we already have enough cars'.
matt 'Why do we have enough cars?'
mary 'We have two cars - one for Daddy and one for me'.
m atthew 'Why do we have two cars?'
mary 'We have two cars so Daddy can drive around towna nd I can drive around town'.
matty 'Why do we drive arounbd town?'
Mary 'Because we need to go different places, such as to Drew';s school and to the store, and to the library and to the pool....'
matthew 'Why do we go to the store and library and the pool and school?'
ah, the why stage.......
