Matty's preschool teacher, Mrs. Garcia, pulled me aside the other day and told me a funny. She said that the class was working on writing the letters of their names, and Matt was really not into it. He sat around watching the others, ad she came around teaching each child one on one. His talent lies for now in reading, not writing! When she got to Matty, and she reminded him so sweetly to try to practice writing the letters of MATTHEW he replied with a groan that "But this is so hard, and I am so little." In retrospect, it was ironic he said that, for he is actually the oldest member of his class, to my knowledge. He will turn 5 October 6th, and as for size, he is a large kid!
